Anand K Subramanian

Hi,

This is Anand (アナンド, if you prefer). I am based in Tokyo, Japan, and I spend the majority of my time trying to understand the nuances of deep neural networks and AI at large. This blog is my space for thinking about and sharing my explorations in ML, math, and art.

I can passionately talk for hours on Karnatik music (South Indian art music) and the philosophy of art. I am on a quest to experience art in its entire glory. When not involved with technology or art, I work out and hike.

Wanna work with me?

I have been working on applied ML for more than 5 years, ranging from robotics to industrial anomaly detection. In an earlier life, I was working on PCB design and embedded systems. I learn quickly (whatever your AI stack may be), stay motivated throughout the project, and am self-directed. Be it a quick project ideation or full-on contract work, I take it very seriously. I make the effort to present the work with complete clarity at every step. Some tenets that I follow while working are data-driven decisions, great communication, and reproducibility.

Wondering if we might be a good fit? Let's schedule a call and find out! I can at least learn about your project and offer you new perspectives and the best directions to proceed. I can usually adapt to working across different time zones.
